In my case my Macbook with Maverick suffered extremely slow wireless connections when connecting to WPA hotspot. Looking on google just brought to a bunch of pretty esoteric solutions that I just didn’t want to dive in.

What did I do ?

Well I just downloaded the Natty driver for my Broadcom card (64bit here) and give it a try. Just download it, install it, reboot.

Things are now a little bit improved (though not as much as I hoped).

A word of warning: doing so may bork your system and make your cats ask for more food more often. I am not be hold responsible of whatever. Do it only if you’re confident with recovering a broken system.

If somebody has better solutions I’m all ears :)
