Google Reader wants me to learn more. But I do *not* want to learn. Anything.
Seems like Google is desperate about getting me to make new google friends. Of course the info bubble does not have a close button. Does not disappear even if I:
- click in the white space of the rest of the page
- refresh the page with F5.
- perform logout and login (yes, afterwards you’ll find it there).
Google reader is very nice but I really:
- don’t want any google friend
- don’t want to learn more
- just want to use my reader.
I find google getting less and less inspired respect of a bunch of years ago. That’s normal, as the tree grows you’re more likely to find apples gone bad. Just cut them.

I think this is a great feature that’s been needed. I recently started sharing items with a group of friends and my wife wants to share items with me too, but she doesn’t want them to go to every friend on her Google talk buddy list. Because this feature was missing she wasn’t sharing anything.

I know and I did (as the only way to remove that bubble). But I found this kind of things obstrusive and extremely annoying.

You went through way too much effort, click the Edit List and check the box that says you don’t want to change anything.
