Android to be opensourced in the next few hours

Android remote conference

Just a quick note to say I’m at the Google Developer Day. We had, amongst the others, an android seminar. Countrarly than other sessions, this was a remote video-conference.

At the end of the session the Google Engineer disclosed he could not take the flight to Italy because they are opensourcing Android. He added we will be able to look the source for “pretty much anything”.

If I didn’t misunderstood anything (which can be), the full thing may happen tomorrow or so.

Update:

It has been released ! Great. Grab the source here!

This seems like a great time to subscribe my RSS !
